CHUCK
TROCINO
Chuck Trocino actually found his way into postproduction in a round about
way - through the music business. In the 80s, after completing studies at
The Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood California and then the
American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, he found himself in Atlanta as
co-owner of one of the first music software companies in the country.
Eventually his work as a musician, composer and audio engineer led him
into editing video on Avid and Media 100 systems. When Final Cut Pro was
released, he found the tools and freedom he'd been searching for in a
non-linear editing system. Today he is a multi-award winning editor and
composer who loves to talk, teach, twist, tweak, trim, slice, sync and of
course EQ anything in Final Cut Pro.
